Introducing the 2018 Honda Odyssey

With a new year, one should expect new growth, and that's what you can find with the new 2018 Honda Odyssey. Compared to the 2017 Model Year, the 2018 Odyssey packs more power, more value, and more features than before. For the sake of simplicity, we will just look at the base LX trim level of both the 2017 and 2018 Odyssey.

While the Honda Odyssey may maintain its same MSRP, the true market value of the vehicle has gone up with the 2018 model year. The minivan's engine has also improved. The 2018 Odyssey still packs a 3.5-liter V6 engine, but it now unleashes 280 horsepower and 262 ft-lbs. of torque while also slightly improving its fuel economy. It also replaces the six-speed automatic transmission with a nine-speed shiftable automatic transmission.

Interior-wise, the 2018 Odyssey now has Climate Control A/C and Keyless Ignition available on the base LX trim level. It also comes standard with an anti-theft system as well.

But while you can learn all about the differences in the new 2018 Honda Odyssey, the only way you can really understand the improvement is by stepping behind the wheel and experiencing it for yourself. So, come by our dealership today. We proudly sell new Honda vehicles to the drivers of Smithtown, as well as the drivers of Kings Park, Holbrook, Commack, Farmingville, and Middle Island.
