The smallest member of the Honda SUV lineup will get even more thrilling. Honda is giving Smithtown drivers a little glimpse of what to expect from the 2023 Honda HR-V. And, so far, our interest is piqued. 2023 will see a redesign in the subcompact SUV entry. Needless to say, Nardy Honda is excited for the real deal, with it arriving later this year.

What to Expect

Honda is only offering a quick peek at the 2023 Honda HR-V. But that doesn't mean we can't expect big things. Last year, Honda unveiled a Hybrid version of the popular SUV in Europe. Could this mean more options for Smithtown drivers when the 2023 Honda HR-V begins to roll off the line? At this point, it is anybody's guess. But smart money wouldn't rule it out completely. At this time, only the 158-horsepower or 180 horsepower four-cylinder engines are available.

What we can expect is how Honda's third-most-popular SUV will look. Other members of the Honda lineup have gotten a bit of a facelift. And it very well could be time for the 2023 Honda HR-V to get a refreshing look. Sleek lines can provide a more dynamic appearance as drivers make their entrance known. Models like the 2022 Honda Civic and 2022 Honda Accord are now longer and wider to give drivers a more refined stance. It is likely to be the case for the 2023 Honda HR-V, as well.

If you break down the image released by Honda in March, the front grille will be a bit sleeker, while large air vents provide solid bookends. Moving toward the back, you can expect darker taillights, adding an air of mystery to this small and energetic crossover. Not much has been released about interior changes, but some believe the cloth accents will be updated with soft-touch materials for a more elegant look.

Details about the 2023 Honda HR-V remain fluid for now. But more information should be revealed later this Spring. Stay tuned with Nardy Honda to learn even more as they roll in.
